This privacy policy explains how data is handled on logan-search.org.

What we store

When you submit a query, we store the submitted DNA sequence and its results for 6 months, after which they are automatically deleted. A unique query ID is also saved in your browser's local storage so you can access your query history. We do not collect personal information such as names, IP addresses, or browser fingerprints.

Email notifications

If you opt in to email notifications for query results, we use Microsoft Azure's email services to send them. We do not store your email address. Emails are used solely for delivering results, never for marketing or profiling.

Hosting

This service is hosted on Microsoft Azure (United States). This means your data is processed on servers located in the US. Azure may log certain technical data (such as IP addresses) as part of its standard infrastructure operations. For details, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use cookies, analytics, or any third-party tracking. The only client-side storage is browser local storage for your query history.
